Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,
Welcome to The Ivy House Girls School.
The Ivy House was founded to provide a world class education for young Muslim women in which faith, scholarship and character are woven together to nurture lives of purpose, excellence and service. Developed through more than twenty years of educational research and practice by Gardens of Jannah Trust, our approach is rooted in the Islamic worldview. We recognise Allah as the source of all truth and understand knowledge as an amanah to be pursued with sincerity, intellectual rigour and moral responsibility.
Our ambitious curriculum integrates Islamic thought and the teachings of the Qur’an across mathematics, science, literature, languages and the humanities. Alongside academic excellence, pupils develop spiritual depth, emotional intelligence, financial literacy and the wisdom to make thoughtful and responsible decisions. Arabic, Qur’an and Islamic Studies provide a strong foundation in faith and help each pupil build a meaningful relationship with Allah.
We are committed to nurturing confident, compassionate and principled young women who aspire to serve the Ummah and wider society. Through exceptional teaching, leadership opportunities, enrichment and international partnerships, including our collaboration with Umm Al Qura University and Iqra Arabia, we prepare pupils to pursue the highest levels of achievement.
Whether our pupils go on to become doctors, engineers, scientists, teachers, entrepreneurs or community leaders, our aim is that they leave The Ivy House knowing who they are, why they are here, and how they can use their gifts in the service of others. We are honoured that you are considering The Ivy House Girls School and look forward to working in partnership with you to nurture the next generation of faithful, knowledgeable and purposeful Muslim women.

The Ivy House Girls School

In partnership with Umm Al-Qura University, Iqra Arabia and Gardens of Jannah Trust, our Masar Makkah programme strengthens Qur’an and Arabic provision through curriculum development, teacher training and immersive language learning. Each year, selected students take part in an annual residential at the Umm Al-Qura University campus, where they experience intensive Arabic study and a unique connection to the language of the Qur’an.

The Ivy House Girls School is an Islamic secondary school dedicated to nurturing young Muslim women and helping them to develop a deep and meaningful relationship with Allah, a strong sense of purpose, and the knowledge, character and confidence to lead lives of benefit and service.
Rooted in the Islamic worldview and guided by revelation and rigorous scholarship, the school believes that education is far more than the memorisation of facts or the accumulation of information. True knowledge is knowledge that deepens understanding, cultivates wisdom and enables pupils to apply what they learn meaningfully in the real world.
Through a broad and carefully sequenced curriculum, pupils learn to think critically and independently, connect ideas across disciplines, and gain a coherent understanding of themselves, the world around them and their responsibilities within it. The school equips its pupils to apply their knowledge with wisdom and integrity to address the challenges facing the world and to serve the Ummah and humanity as ethical leaders, innovators and compassionate stewards of the earth, seeking the pleasure of Allah.
Allah says in the Qur’an:
“And We have not sent you except as a mercy to all the worlds.”
(Qur’an 21:107)
Inspired by this divine mandate, Ivy House core belief builds on from four treasures : Faith Knowledge Character and Purpose. Muslim women who use their knowledge, talents and character tinsha’Allah will go on to benefit the Ummah and the wider human family, embodying the Prophetic example of mercy, justice and service to all creation.

The educational philosophy of The Ivy House is rooted in the following enduring principles:
